About the Chef:
Bio:

Jig Patel has “always been a Georgia girl”. After growing up in Augusta and then off to law school at the University of Detroit, Jig found her way back to Georgia, living in Duluth.

Culinary Background/Training:
Ms. Jig, as she’s known in the kitchen, had many stressful days getting through law school so she spent many nights baking. “It would soothe me” she said. She knew she needed to take that passion for baking and put it to use, opening her first Nothing Bundt Cakes store in Cumming in 2014 and then bringing one to Snellville last year.

Favorite Culinary Memory:
Baking something for someone is always a favorite moment for Jig, saying that “food is such an emotional connection with people.”

What I’ll be Tasting at Good Taste GWINNETT:
All the favorite bundt cakes...Chocolate, Red Velvet, Lemon - and maybe everyone’s favorite Fall flavor - Pumpkin Spice.

Fun Fact:
Jig is obsessed with bees...yep, you read that right - BEES. She wants to help save the environment through educating people about bees and their effect on the planet.

On MY Bucket List:
Travel is on everyones bucket list. She wants to travel to Australia, Vietnam, and India and most importantly, work and help build orphanages in India. ”Kids are in need everywhere,” she says.
